3-Day Proficient Software Developer

Tradestar Kenya Limited is fast growing outsourcing organization situated in Thika town.


We are looking for a proficient mobile cross-platform programmer to work with us on an existing code-base for a period of 3 days.


Responsibilities



  • Compile an existing flutter code-base into .ipa binary and upload to IOS store

  • Work with outside data sources and API’s

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.


Education and experience:



  • Experience with flutter multi-platform environment

  • Experience with iOS development environment, Xcode, App-store

  • Experience with cloud solutions e.g. Firebase is a plus


Other Requirements



  • A good knowledge of apple’s iOS application provision

  • the ability to learn quickly

  • the ability to interpret and follow technical plans

  • a creative approach to problem-solving

  • an understanding of development processes like ‘Agile’

  • excellent communication skills

  • the ability to work with people at all levels, including non-technical staff

  • good project management skills

  • the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • good teamwork skills

  • self-motivation

  • an understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues.

  • Distance of travel from home to office in Thika must be less than 60 min


Remuneration: Ksh US$10 per hour. Person should be ready to work from our offices in Thika for the period.
