POSITION PURPOSE:
Assist in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance of all business transactions to accounting and financial procedures, policies and control systems
Description
SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving customer orders
- Invoicing of credit customers
- Ensuring credit sales documents are submitted
- Sales analysis
- Posting M-pesa into accounting system
- Statutory returns- NHIF,NSSF,PAYE,VAT, HELB
- Stock taking of finished goods
- Bill of Materials reconciliation
- Support procurement
- Filling
- Raising cheque payment vouchers
- Any other duties that may be assigned by management
Education Cpa
- Minimum qualification in CPA Part II
- Degree in a relevant field will be added advantage
- Computer proficiency and ability to use Accounting software (Sage Evolution)
More Details on Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years working in the accounts department of a busy company
- Experience working in a manufacturing company will be an added advantage
