Job Summary
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
1. File statutory returns on timely manner as per the norms of KRA. (VAT/PAYE/NSSF/NHIF/P9)
2. Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
3. Recording and maintaining the accounting transactions
4. Maintain and reconcile bank accounts on regular basis.
5. Generate invoices and make timely follow ups on accounts receivable
6. Debt collection
7. Research and reconcile all discrepancies.
8. Petty Cash Management.
9. Payroll Management
10. Auditing and verifying documents.
11. Following internal controls.
12. Financial analysis on a requested basis
13. Manage accounts payable
14. Identify and provide strategic work solutions to improve the operational efficiency
15. Assist in administrative functions of the office
Qualifications
• A University Degree in Accounts and or Finance
• Must have CPAK and must be a member of a recognized professional body
• Minimum of 4 years’ accounting experience
• Knowledge on the use of QuickBooks is a mandatory requirement
• Must be conversant in using i-Tax.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in accounts in billing and account receivable.
• Knowledge & experience in preparing final company accounts is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative, meet tight deadlines and balance priorities to achieve results
