Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with key vendors including Kenya Ports Authority, Shipping lines, and Kenya Revenue Authority.
- Process invoices accurately, ensuring proper coding and approval.
- Execute timely and accurate payments to vendors and monitor payment deadlines.
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in financial reporting related to accounts payable activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain organized records and support audit processes.
- Address and resolve payment-related inquiries and issues.
- Provide excellent customer service in interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle inquiries and build positive relationships.
