Job Description
Electrical Technician Job, Latest Engineering Jobs,
- Perform electrical installations.
- Maintain health and safety in the section and plant equipment’s.
- Electronic wiring of equipment’s and apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnoses’ malfunctioning systems in cement plant to locate the cause of breakdown and apply corrective measures.
- Attend plant breakdown (mechanical/electrical).
- Cost control.
- Bulker loading.
- In-charge of personal and machine safety.
- Reports and corrects any unsafe areas to the management.
- Perform plant maintenance works.
- Perform plant inspections.
- Assists in production operations work.
- Keep records of equipment manuals and user guides, as well as maintenance practices, repair works carried out on all facilities and equipment’s.
- Advise on any hazardous operations of the equipment’s.
- Install ground lead and connect power cables to equipment’s such as motors.
- Must make sure all dangerous electrical places are marked and labelled correctly.
- Carry out housekeeping of electrical equipment’s.
- Ensure there are no open or hanging cables in the plant and offices.
- Any other duty that maybe assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc/Higher National Diploma/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (power option) or any other related
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy Organization preferably manufacturing.
- A team player.
Salary: Negotiable
