Job Description

The County Government of Meru wishes to recruit competent, self-driven, experienced and qualified staff to fill the following positions in various departments pursuant to article 176 of the constitution of Kenya and county governments Act No.17 of 2012.
Duties and responsibilities:-
- Collecting agricultural engineering field data for investigation and analysis
- Conducting survey for engineering works
- Carrying out preliminary design of agricultural engineering works
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance of machines and equipment
- Conducting on-farm trials
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade an officer must have:-
- Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Agricultural engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Been registered by the engineers board of Kenya as a graduate engineer
