Job Vacancy: Appliances Service Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspection, repairing & testing of Home Appliance Products, especially Air conditioner, Fridge, Washing Machine, Gas Cookers, Water dispensers, Microwave oven, Blender, Kettle, Iron Box, Fans, Food Processor etc…


• Cooling Products Brazing, Gas refilling & Cooling products repair work experience.


• Technician contributes to productivity improvement and is responsible for taking corrective action on his own initiative.


• Testing of Electrical equipment’s, Analyzing & Repairing experience.


• Appliance products Installation of Air conditioner, Washing machine etc.


• Disassemble appliances so that problems can be diagnosed and repairs can be made.


• Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair.


• Bill customers for repair work, and collect payment.


• Collect payments for good or services.


• Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conduct tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds.


• Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning.


• Service and repair domestic electrical or gas appliances, such as clothes washers, refrigerators, stoves, and dryers.


• Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.


• Replace worn and defective parts such as switches, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, circuit boards, or defective wiring.


• Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.


• Reassemble units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed.


• Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.


• Reassemble equipment after repair.


• Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.


• Talk to customers or refer to work orders to establish the nature of appliance malfunctions.


• Read work orders or descriptions of problems to determine repairs or modifications needed.


• Confer with customers or users to assess problems.


• Job Card updates & Repair works reporting knowledge.


• Must be able to work Carry-In & In-home repair works.

Knowledge and Experience:

Key Competencies:

• Technical knowhow of CEHA range of products


• Diploma in Electronics
