About the job
- The holder of this position will play a crucial role in supporting the Management in the day-to-day operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Performing financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including reviewing policies, budgeting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of the company’s statements and forecasts.
- Assist in creating strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
- Assist in the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Assist in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership
- Assist in Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
- Assist in the management of the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirement
Qualifications
- CPA Section 4
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accountancy, statistics, economics, or related subject
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
