Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electrical and Electronicsengineering or its equivalent from a recognizedinstitution.


• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination mean Grade C (plain) or its equivalent; with passes in Mathematics/ English or its approved equivalent; and


• Three (3) years working experience


• MUST have three (3) years’ work experience.


• MUST have served as Assistant Computer Technologist II or in a comparable positon.


• Relevant ICT certification; and in Good Standing.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintenance of computer hardware, un-interruptible power supplies (UPS), printers, scanners and general electronic & computing equipment.


• Organization of design, development, installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of software and information systems.


• Assisting in the collection and preparation of ICT teaching and research materials where applicable.


• Installing and certifying new software and upgrading the old software; ensuring that the computer laboratory/workshop and the computer equipment are clean and available.


• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
