Job Specification
- Participate in design and implementation of new projects.
- Participate in preparation of procedures for undertaking the design and implementation activities using best practices in the industry.
- Assist the Engineer in implementation activities and preparation of project reports.
- Maintain updated projects database. v.Understudy the Engineer in all aspects of their roles
- Assist in carrying out research and designs of new products vii.Assist in defining project specifications;
- Carry out technical studies and prepare cost estimates under the supervision of the Engineer.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantity for Consultancy and Construction project works.
- Understudy the Engineer in all aspects of their roles
b) Person Specification
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or it’s equivalent from a recognized institution
- Membership to a relevant professional body.
- Proficiency in Computer applications.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering aspects in Oil/gas Industry including knowledge of local and international standards.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including ability to prepare relevant reports.
- Flexibility and responsiveness in handling and determining engineering issues.
- Ability to maintain professional status and keep abreast of evolving trends.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
