Experience with solar or electrical engineering,managing projects and have good technical and practical knowledge of solar PV systems.

Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be involved in the training of the technical teams, logistics of the surveys, installation and commissioning of 300 off-grid solar PV systems in schools and/or health clinics. S/he will be working with multiple partners and divisions to execute the project. Regional travel is expected as needed for success of the project.
- Assisting both the Project Manager and technical teams to prepare, coordinate and conduct site surveys, source material from different local and international suppliers and organize logistics of the supply chain to carry out solar PV installations across the country
- Liaison with the project manager, technical teams, outside organizations and different departments within Sollatek to share precise information and details about site’s locations, general and specific features during and/or after site visits
- Ensuring continuous support to the technical teams during surveys and installations, to answer any specific needs as fast as possible and complete the project within the given timeframe
Requirements
Good understanding of solar PV systems requirements, designs and usages
- Very strong personal and professional organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management software - particularly Gantt’s chart, Microsoft Office (word, excel…) and Office 365
- Experience with working as a team and with several outside parties
- Abilities to analyze and interpret information quickly, evaluate and thoroughly manage potential risks
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Drivers license
