Job Title: Assistant Hotel Manager

Our client is a leading boutique hotel in Mombasa.

They seek to hire an efficient Assistant Hotel Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

In conjunction with the Operations Manager:

• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel including compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.


• Monitor and grow the business whilst maintaining a high standard of product service over all avenues of the business in beverage, food and gaming.


• Control the Hotel’s expenses


• Be proficient in cash handling and balancing skills.


• Be proficient in stock control and achievement of budgeted margins.
  Be able to organize high standard functions and events at the Hotel;


• Be responsible for overseeing Front office operations, Housekeeping & room division operations, Reservations / Guest relations operations, Restaurant Operations, Safety & Security operations, Marketing Operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Hotel & Restaurant Management


• Business degree may be considered with management and hospitality experience


• At Least 3 years management experience at a full-service hotel or resort


• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office


• Team player, who works well across functions and levels
