JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
SALARY: KSHS 40,000.00- KHs 50,000.00
JOB LOCATIONS: ATHI RIVER
Responsibilities
- Processing receipts, sales invoices and payments
- Petty cash management
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliation
- Preparation of annual reports
- Management of payable accounts
- Filing of statutory payment
- Cash summary reconciliation
- Maintaining financial records which accurately record the business’ incoming and outgoing finances
- Good experience in reconciliation ( bank and dispatch) , knowledge of sage evaluation
- Completing tax return forms
- Ensuring that accounts are accurately monitored and recorded
- Dealing with company’s payroll by processing wages and employee expense claims
- Preparing profit and loss accounts sheets
- Preparing balance sheets
- Answering the phone and reading/sending emails to clients
- Debt collection
- Invoice payables and receivables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance/BCOM
- CPA Section 6
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting field in a busy manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel/ Tally/ Sage evaluation
- Ability to work with accounting software and quick books
- Knowledge of credit control
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Flexibility to relocate to work in Athi-River.
