JOB TITLE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS  ( GENERATORS AND COMPRESSORS)
INDUSTRY ENGINEERING
NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME
SALARY KSHs- 30,000.00-35,000.00
JOB LOCATION NAIROBI


Responsibilities



  • Receive Engineering Work Order Requests (EWRs), prints or sketches for the job

  • Must be able to read blue prints and sketches

  • Installs and maintains the generator wiring, electric motors and machines

  • Repairs electrical faults in generators, alternators, pumps, electric motors

  • Read and interprets mechanical drawings

  • Installs generator sets for complete generating stations

  • Inspects maintains and repairs generator sets and diesel driven pumps

  • Overhauls and rebuilds generators

  • Preventive maintenance inspections of engines/ compressor installation, alignment and overhauls

  • Visit customer’s site and accomplish field preventive maintenance on compressors

  • Perform monthly preventive Maintenance service and Minor repairs

  • Develop and execute routine preventive maintenance schedules

  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications



  • Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Dip in Elec. Engineering

  • NCA registered.

  • EPRA registered class C2 or C1

  • Between 2 – 5 years in the industry.

  • Work experience in Elec Maintenance works for Generators, compressors.

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Electrical maintenance experience.

  • Works experience of Electrical project works.

  • Driving an advantage.

  • Good Communication skills
