-- Purpose of Role:
You will be responsible for the procurement not only of new schools but also new partners. You will support the Country Manager to implement new strategies for the Organisation work expansion. You will be in charge of promoting, sensitizing and selling Camara packages among schools/ education institutions and any other partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
● Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
● Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers as well as conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
● Organizing daily work schedule to make appointments to meet new and existing customers and decision makers
● Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history; suggesting related and new items; understanding customers’ needs and explaining technical features
● Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by telephone and email
● Meeting sales targets and specifications targets
● Participating in marketing initiatives by developing tools including presentations, publications and marketing materials, etc.
● Contributing in the marketing strategy plan, to define market potential, competitors, market shares, etc.
● Provide customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
● Recommend changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive development
● Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople and provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
● Team capacity management, coaching, training & development and performance management.
● Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
● Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
● Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
● The establishment and maintenance of all appropriate record keeping.
● Ensure that all promotion, quotation & sales documentation is client centric and market leading
● Ensure that all activity within the function is performed within established and emerging Regulatory guidelines

Experience Required
● At least 3 years’ experience in a Business development environment with a proven track record in sales target achievement in education sector
● Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
● Proven experience as a Business Development officer, Sales and Marketing officer, or similar position.
● Proven track record handling large accounts and management
● Market sensitive, knowing the market, able to deepen out and create new markets and better understanding of the African Market
● Strong listening and relationship management skills
● Ability to set targets and efficiently guide the efforts to reach them effectively
● Strong in overall business strategy with attention to detail
● Strong execution and follow-up skills
● Result driven with customer oriented approach
