Job Description
A medium sized but busy civil and structural engineering consultancy firm in Nairobi seeks to recruit a
competent, highly motivated and result oriented individual for the position of CAD Technician.
Reporting to the senior engineer the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions;
- Preparation of detailed civil & structural drawings
- Adjust, revise/modify structural drawings according to mark ups & specifications.
- Preparation of project reports
- Attending to site inspections and site meetings.
- Preparation of bar bending schedules
- Conducting, coordinating & analyzing site quality control tests as maybe required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in civil engineering from a reputable institution.
- At least one year relevant work experience in civil & structural detailing of building structures and civil works in a busy design office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates sound work ethics, honesty and integrity.
- Be proficient in AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
