Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following position:

Job Title: Food Technologist

Duty Station: Nairobi

Contract Details: Fixed Term One Year Renewable Contract

Job Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of food products and processes in collaboration with the implementing partner as part of quality assurance of all Lishe Poa project activities and/or products developed

Job Specification:

• A degree in Food Science and Technology or relevant field


• At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role In food development, certification and quality assurance, packaging and distribution, managing and establishing public private partnerships with proven competency in Ministry of Health systems and working with and through local partners, social entrepreneurship, project design for social impact, user centred design in the nutrition and health sector
