Job Description
Job Title: Creative Designer
Reports to: Communications Manager
Industry: Information Technology
Location: Nairobi
Salary: 40k – 50k
Job Purpose: The overall purpose of this role is to create engaging and on-brand graphics for various platforms.
Our client is a leading software solutions provider offering a wide array of solutions for Electronic Security Systems, Queue Management Systems, Visitor Management System, Hospital Information Management System and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, signages, and other designs
- Work with copywriters to produce final designs
- Amend designs after feedback
- Design newsletter, landing pages, and more
- Source for relevant marketing images
- Manage and maintain the social media calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
Key Qualifications and Competencies
- 2-3 years relevant experience as a graphic
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Candidates with photography and video editing skills shall have an added advantage
