Position: Delivery Driver
Location: Nairobi – Kenya
Industry: Hospitality
Our client, a market leader in QSR fast food industry in Kenya is urgently seeking to hire an organized and experienced Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering products to our client’s outlets and other places as instructed by performing the following duties;
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods/products
- Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
- Deliver products to the on assigned outlets
- Maintain on-going communication with route dispatcher
- Unload goods as per client specifications
- Review deliveries with each outlet’s to ensure products meet their needs
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each outlet
- To undertake ad-hoc assignment or duties assigned by management when required
Key Competencies & Qualifications
- Must have at 5 years’ of experience as Deliver Driver
- Familiar with the routes in Nairobi
- Ability to discharge obligations in a professional manner
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test
- Strong customer service skills
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Free of any criminal record
- Flexible – required to assist in loading and offloading of the said products and also to work for long hours from time to time. Might sometimes be required to also work during the weekends
- Watchful and Safety conscious
