St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital Kiirua is a fast growing Mission Hospital which is committed to providing accessible, Affordable, Promotive, Preventive, Curative and Rehabilitative health services to all and in accordance to the social teachings of the Catholic Church. St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital Kiirua is a Faith Based Health Organization in the Catholic Diocese of Meru. It is one of the apostolic services of the Little Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.
Responsibilities
- Providing dental care including diagnosing common oral conditions, treating, prescribing and referring;
- Carrying out minor oral and maxillofacial surgery; prosthetics and conservative dentistry
- Facilitating admission, disease investigation of patients, report writing and assisting in theatre activities
- Providing psycho-social interventions
- Collecting information on dental health information system
- Training and mentoring Dental Interns and other students:
- Implementing health projects and programmes
- Monitoring provision of health treatment and care
- Undertaking health research
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (DS) degree from an institution recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
- Successfully completed one (1) year internship from a recognized institution;
- Certificate of Registration by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
- Valid practicing license from Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council;
- Certificate in Computer proficiency skills from a recognized institution

- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Must have good customer service skills
