Job Summary


As an EEO, you will be training the county ECD officers into the implementation of Competency-based curriculum (CBC) through Tayari Pre-Primary programme, support teachers and learners in using the EIDU learning apps.Visit schools on a daily basis, be responsible for the management of a team of EIDU Coaches, including their professional development



  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor

Job Description/Requirements



What You will do




  • Carry out learning support for pre primary education officers and teachers independently and responsibly which includes the use of digital interventions




  • Train county ECD officers, and teachers in delivery of CBC using Tayari methodology for pre-primary and EIDU learning App 




  • Visit schools on a daily basis to provide ongoing mentorship, training and performance feedback to teachers




  • Lead and support a number of EIDU Coaches and their cohorts of schools




  • Carry out assessments using paper and ICT devices 




  • Contribute to our learning digital platforms development and materials by providing regular feedback




  • Use provided data analytics, including your own classroom observations and coaches feedback, to identify and support underperforming schools    






  • Assist in organizing town halls, community sessions and teacher trainings and support the country team with other tasks as needed 




What You Should have




  • Great communication skills with impeccable written & spoken English and local language skills; public speaking experience preferred




  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an educational field 




  • Graduated in pre primary education or equivalent




  • Experience in use of Tayari Methodology in delivering CBC will be an added advantage




  • Proven community leadership experience, leading teams of people to accomplish an objective. Experience in mentorship, training and coaching of youth and adults.




  • Experience in working with (pre)primary age children 




  • Experience with smartphones and interest in using ICT for educational purposes 




  • Strong attention to detail 




  • Strong level of responsibility and independence




  • Geographic flexibility, willing to move with the requirements of the organization




  • Certificate of Good Conduct
