This is the role
The EHS Libryo Engineering Delivery Manager is responsible for the following:
- Plan, coordinate and supervise engineering projects and supervise multiple teams
- Build and manage diverse teams of engineers from different disciplines
- Formulate and execute strategies, and coordinate with other managers
- Determining the need for training and talent development
- Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering department across all teams
- Hiring, recruiting and training of engineering talent
- Oversee the development and maintenance of engineering team competence
- Develop evaluation criteria that will serve to measure progress and effectiveness of departmental operations
- Provide performance ratings and reviews for team members
- Review department objectives for adequacy and consistency with business objectives
- Monthly reporting of departmental metrics
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, quality and cost to maintain profitability and competitiveness
- Define, manage, measure and report relevant Key Performance Indicators
- Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness
- Identifies resource needs and develops justification
- Coach and develop members of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Understand scaling and enjoy the opportunity to grow an engineering team
- Decision making, problem-solving and have excellent organisational skills to balance and prioritise work
- Lead teams and work jointly across departments
- Above average analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve people and process problems
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 10 years of experience managing/working in engineering teams

- You care about impact, love a challenge, and take ownership of your work
