Job Purpose: 

The quality analyst will define project governance for project delivery and ensure project requirements capture business groups’ needs as well as technical teams’ specifications. He/she works closely with business analysts and project managers to ensure that project quality plan, quality control, and quality metrics are achieved, and ensure product compliance with risk, enterprise architecture, business process compliance, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

Program/Project Quality

• Define and establish quality acceptance criteria


• Ensure Program/project quality requirements are defined and communicated at the initial stages of a project.


• Quality scoping; prioritization of quality based on risk, business process, and compliance


• Ensure that the project plan highlights all milestones and identifies all quality gates.


• Ensure a quality review is carried out at every project stage gate.


• Identification and recommendation of process improvement and opportunities within a project.


• Create and communicate comprehensive quality summary reports to stakeholders.

Business Requirements and Key Work products Quality.

• A comprehensive review of project/product/capability requirements


• A comprehensive review of identified key project work products


• Support requirement traceability process


• Communicate gaps identified


• Ensure identified issue closure.

Quality Assurance Alignment

• Identifying and implementing efficient quality assurance tools and techniques to be applied in the institution.


• Coordinate quality assurance training to stakeholders


• Quality Management  Tools -Champion tools utilization among various department teams; Enforce Tool usage among teams;  Prepare tool templates


• Support product test maturity by analyzing metrics and sharing inferences Align quality practices with regulatory requirements, best practices, and other international standards.
  
  
  
  • (Based on time provide for test vs time taken to conduct test vs scope of test vs efficiency of the test and effectiveness of the test results);
  
  
  • Risk-based test Design -clear prioritization of test based on identified risks & business requirement priority.
  
  
  
  




• Alignment of quality assurance practices to the overall organization strategy.

Essential Knowledge

• Excellent understanding of Quality management systems.


• In-depth knowledge of Capability maturity.


• Expert knowledge; exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness. Leads the development of highly advanced technologies, principles, theories and concepts. Guides and transfers knowledge to s/his team.


• In-depth knowledge of policies and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

• ITIL / CSQA / COBIT/TQM qualification to practitioner level or equivalent qualifications or experience (Preferred)


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related field


• High level of competence with MS Office and MS Visio


• Banking Experience (Preferred)


• University degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience Quality assurance


• Proven ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design and implement effective practical recommendations


• Able to operate in a performance-driven organization


• Excellent written and spoken language skills
