Job Description/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF A FLEET MANAGEMENT OFFICER
1. Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Fleet Management/ Automotive Engineering / Logistics and Transport or its equivalent.
2. Mechanical skills and knowledge to be able to test, service and repair cars and other kind of vehicles.
3. 5-7 years’ experience working preferably as a Fleet or Transport Officer.
4. Mechanical skills to be able to diagnose motor vehicle engine and issue accurate report /recommendation.
5. Defensive driving certificate from Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
6. A valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for any of the classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive.
7. Passed the Occupational Test I for Drivers.
8. Basic knowledge of computers applications.
9. Interpersonal skills to relate well with workmates and customers.
10. Show ability as reflected in work performance and results.
11. Certificate of National Association of Fleet Administration (NAFA) will be an added advantage.
