Job Title: Brand & Marketing Executive – FMCG

Industry: Fast Moving Consumer Goods

Gross Salary: 55k – 60k

Location: Thika

Our Client is an established manufacturer of food products.

They seek to hire a Brand & Marketing Executive who will oversee many aspects of a campaign throughout the entire lifespan of a product, service or idea.

S/He will be responsible for maximizing profits through developing sales strategies that match customer requirements and by promoting products, services or ideas.

Responsibilities

• overseeing and developing marketing campaigns


• conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences


• devising and presenting ideas and strategies


• promotional activities


• compiling and distributing financial and statistical information


• writing and proofreading creative copy


• maintaining websites and looking at data analytics


• organising events and product exhibitions


• updating databases and customer relationship management (CRM)


• coordinating internal marketing and an organisation’s culture


• monitoring performance


• managing campaigns on social media.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline


• Proven experience as marketing executive or similar role


• At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG


• Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods


• Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices


• Proficient in MS Office


• Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. Web Trends)


• Excellent communication and people skills


• Strong organizational and time-management abilities


• Creativity and commercial awareness


• Flexibility in working Hours
