Job Summary
Our client, seeks to hire Food Technologist with hands-on experience in food processing. He /She must have practical experience in juices, potatoes and banana crisps manufacture.
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma
- Experience Level: Senior level
- Experience Length: 5 years
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help in Setting up an upcoming processing plant.
- To formulate and set up production processes for the above mentioned products.
- To set up the standards and monitor the same.
- To ensure good manufacturing procedures and processes are well understood by all a staff and adhered to.
- Production supervision and control of production losses.
- Development of new products in line with the company growth strategy.
- Ensure product compliance to all relevant standards
- Responsibility for hygiene in the factory.
- Maintenance of inventories
- Development of new and improved methods of and systems of food processing, production, quality control, packaging and distribution.
Qualifications and Experience;
- Diploma in Food Science and Technology from recognized Institutions.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have experience in product development.
- Must have very clear understanding of the manufacturing licensing process.
- People management skills.
- Products certification process.
- Very clear understanding of the equipment’s required.
- Must be visionary and have an entrepreneur mind.
- 5-10 years’ experience in similar set ups.
