Job description

New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited is the leading Dairy Company in the Country re- known for its top of the range, quality brands that include KCC Butter, Ghee, Gold Crown, Safari land, Mala, Yoghurt and KCC Fresh among others.

We are seeking to recruit dynamic and result driven persons to fill the following vacant position. Assist the Company to achieve its strategic goals through implementation of efficient and effective systems of acquisition of goods, works and services, as well as disposal of assets.

Responsibilities

• Managing the tendering and quotation process as well as contract


• Identifying potential   cost-saving    areas    through    competitive    tendering    and


• Ensuring suppliers meet pre-qualifications and comply with the Public Procurement Procedures


• Leading, training and managing the procurement team towards delivering required results.


• Managing the transaction approval processes of requisitions and PO’s.


• Advising and performing secretarial duties for the Tender


• Reviewing requirements for materials, especially for


• Any other duties as assigned by immediate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain management or related field


• Master’s Degree in Supply Chain management or its equivalent


• Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks (cumulative)


• Professional qualification in Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies Management (CIPS)


• Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks (cumulative)


• At least Ten (10) years’ work experience in supply chain management


• At least eight (8) Years relevant experience in senior management in a large


• Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution


• Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities


• Prior experience managing a department in a busy environment


• Exceptional planning and organization skills
