Job Description
We are a 4 star Hotel in the Mt. Kenya region.
We are recruiting at the following position:
Accountant
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Operations Manager this position serves to address all accounting needs of the Hotel.
Job Specification
- CPA finalist
- 2 years of progressive experience. Experience in a hotel institution will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence in financial matters and administrative capability in work performance and results.
Job Description
- Developing financial procedures manual and reviewing it from time to time.
- Ensuring effective management of financial resources.
- Producing timely annual audited accounts of the Resort.
- Preparing budgets, financial and management accounts; ensuring propriety and regularity of expenditure within the Resort budget and ensuring that appropriate accounting procedures are followed.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory financial and administrative requirements; interpretation of financial reports and ensuring that monthly financial results are produced accurately and timely.
