You will be in charge of overseeing a staff of 33. The hotel and restaurant cater for HNW individuals in an extremely luxurious environment. As the Hotel Manager you will be responsible for the daily operation of the hotel and restaurant, with a real focus on the highest standards of service. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the rooms and other facilities, alongside motivating and training the team. The role will suit someone who has proven experience in high-end/luxury boutique hotels/private members clubs and a real passion for the area and local & international clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Preparation of annual budgets and business plans to achieve the desired financial and non-financial targets and objectives with detailed action plans.
•    Preparation of detailed capital expenditure budgets with proper justifications and explanation of resultant value addition.
•    Produce monthly reports analyzing performance throughout the hotel and restaurant and across all departments.
•    Evaluates changes to the guest's needs, the hotel's guest mix and competitive trends to recommend appropriate products/services and operational changes to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
•    Maintain cordial labor relations, staff satisfaction and motivation through frequent communications, open discussions, and meetings with both senior and junior staff and their representatives.
•    Support the marketing team in digital and non-digital strategies.

Qualifications:
•    Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management from a reputable Institution locally or from a recognized international University.
•    High-level computer skills.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a high-end property.
•    Culinary background is a plus.

Monthly gross salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
Position Level: Management level.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
