Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities
•    Cleaning and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replace used towels, Sweep and mop floors, Vacuum carpets, Dust furniture.
•    Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
•    Wear safety protection equipment as provided in line with department regulations.
•    Respond to guest complaint, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction.
•    Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
•    Report turn in and log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
•    Work as part of a team and communicate with other department as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
•    Ensures that proper hygiene is maintained at the wash-up by ensuring the use of correct cleaning materials for various equipment.
•    Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo).
•    Clean public areas, like corridors.
•    Report any technical issues and maintenance needs.
•    Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift.
•    Follow hotel security guidelines.

Qualifications
•    Must have a diploma or certificate in housekeeping.
•    Must have a Minimum 4 years working in a 4-star hotel or animal parks and reserves.
•    Must be willing to relocate, Accommodation will be provided.
•    KCSE Minimum C-
•    Experience working in hotels in animal parks and reserves is an added advantage.
•    Experience working for an international hotel is an added advantage.
•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Ability to deliver set objectives and highly organized.
•    Team player and result oriented.
•    Ability to work in remote area.
•    Flexible to work on shifts and stretch upon request.

Monthly Gross Salary: 30000 Kes + Service charge
