We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you are responsible for daily assigned duties as instructed by Supervisors while adhering to hotel policies and procedures and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

Ø  Receive work assignment, keys and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log book accurately

Ø  Clean rooms and bathrooms, performing any combination of the following duties

Ø  Keep fire exits and stairways clear of any obstruction

Ø  Check and report any maintenance work required immediately

Ø  Pick up any litter from corridors and pathways

Ø  Vacuum carpet and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets

Ø  Make the bed, wash sink, bathtub, toilet, tiles, mirrors and floor, and polish brass and metal Replenish bathroom supplies and room supplies

Ø  Tidy and arrange neatly guest toilet articles on vanity top and spot cleans carpet when necessary Clean and keep the guest corridors, service pantries and service areas neat and tidy at all times Remove Room Service tray and trolley from guestroom and corridors

Ø  Inform valet service to collect guests’ clothes for laundry, dry cleaning or pressing services

Ø  Have a good eye for detail, with high standards.

Ø  Be able to work efficiently to ensure our rooms are ready for our guests

Ø  Remain calm under pressure at work

Ø  React to any guest requests in order that we exceed expectations

Ø  Thrive on being part of a committed team, who take pride in their work, and who support one another

Ø  Ideally have been a Room Attendant or similar before, although full training will be given

Education, Qualifications & Experiences You should ideally have a vocational training within the Housekeeping Department of a hotel. Utalii College certification is an added advantage. -Good command of English, 3+ years in at least four-star hotel.

Knowledge & Competencies The ideal candidate will be a friendly, caring, dedicated individual with good cross-cultural sensitivity and the willingness to put in an extra effort and time when required, as well as the passion to serve customers. What we are looking for:

Ø  Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated the ability to interact with guests and employees

Ø  Have previous cleaning experience, preferred but not necessary

Ø  Have experience of adhering to the site & company procedures

Ø  Be able to work flexible hours including evenings & weekends, with some early starts & late finishes

Ø  Be confident to speak to guests

Ø  Be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and remain calm under pressure

Ø  Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
