Job Description
Job Summary
Our client, in the healthcare sectors with outpatient clinics across the country is seeking to recruit a HR Officer to support their human resource department and manage both clinical and non-clinical staff. The ideal candidates MUST have at least 3 years’ experience in healthcare as a human resource officer.
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring Hospital staff practices are in line with policy and legislative requirements.
• Facilitate recruitments for assigned Divisions and Departments.
• Implementing terms and conditions of service e.g. medical cover, leave, group life and provident fund.
• Foreseeing orientation, training and development programs.
• Ensure effective implementation of the performance management process
• Personnel Management and ensuring staff retention.
• Maintaining up to date staff records.
• Facilitating continual improvement of the Hospital's HR policies and practices.
Qualifications:
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• Should have at least 3 years Experience working as a HR Officer in a hospital.
• Ability to work closely with other team members.
• Should have good knowledge of labour laws.
• Display effective advisory and influencing skills.
• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Membership of IHRM is an added advantage.
Monthly gross salary: Kes 120,000/= – 150,000/=

Location: Meru, Kenya
