• 1st Position-Student/graduate from accredited University/Institution in Developmental Studies, Public Health/Health or related fields with Proficient writing and computer skills. 


• 2nd Position- Degree/diploma in Information & Technology with good media and communication skills. Excellent in social marketing and networking.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Country Director, the Intern will obtain knowledge and develop skills. The interns will support GO Kenya team on Programs in project design and development,  reporting, networking, and developing resources for GO Kenya’s programs and activities. The interns will also learn other areas such as admin, finance & HR management thus contributing to promotion of Global One’s vision and mission.

Period:

Internship will be for three months with a possibility of one full time position  based on  performance. For the three months the interns will be based in Nairobi office.

Volunteer’s Expectations:

The intern is expected to:

1. Be professional at all times through quality of work, punctuality, attendance, and attitude.


2. Be dependable, able to work under minimal supervision and highly organized.


3. Display the initiative and ability to learn.


4. Maintain a good working relationship with peers and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Incentives:

• The 2 interns will be unpaid positions but our office  will cover their travel expenses for the three months.
