Our client in the Construction Industry is seeking to recruit a highly talented professional to fill in the following positions for their various projects in Kenya:
FOREMAN (3 positions)
Reporting to the Site Supervisor/Clerk of Works, Foreman will be responsible for supervising the overall operations on the site and act as a bridge between the upper management and the workers on the construction project site.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensuring that a project is adequately staffed
- Preparing work schedules for workers
- Supervising all construction workers
- Solving disputes between workers
- Assigning tasks to construction workers
- Recruiting and training the construction workers according to the need of a project
- Preparing and presenting relevant project reports to superiors
- Resolving and/or escalating to management all issues that have impact on project deliverables
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field of study
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in a similar sector i.e., Construction
- Excellent report writing, presentation, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record in running projects
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
