Job Description
Kentegra Biotechnology at the EPZ Athi River is looking for Laboratory Technicians.
The key tasks for this role include:-
- Sampling, labelling and safely samples to be tested
- Receiving, labelling, and safely storing laboratory chemicals and samples to be tested.
- Determining and performing tests needed for analysis.
- Clean and maintain lab equipment.
- Perform routine laboratory functions.
- Prepare and standardize Lab chemical reagents.
- Maintaining cleanliness /hygiene in the Laboratory.
Qualifications and work experience required for this role
- Minimum of a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Industrial chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Applied Biology with a Certificate in Science Laboratory Technology.
- Must be Computer literate and knowledgeable on the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of one year relevant working experience (experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage).
- Good organizational skills
- Great attention to detail
- Able to work on shift basis
