Job Title: Management Accountant
Division / Department: Finance
Immediate Supervisor: Head of Finance & Administration
Overall Responsibility: The position is responsible for documenting and monitoring achievements of the company’s financial objectives and ensuring integrity of financial reporting. Deliver accurate, timely and efficient commercial analysis to internal customers.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of Management Reports
- Perform financial analysis and processing of financial information
- Assess internal controls
- Analyze and/or prepare monthly financial information and maintenance of books of accounting
- Prepare timely and efficient business unit performance reports that assist customers to monitor achievement of their financial and operational goals.
- Business forecasting and preparations of projections
- Working with functional heads to do business performance reviews
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent.
- CPA(K) / ACCA
- Five (5) years relevant experience
