Little Scholars Kindergarten and Junior School is a private educational institution offering both preschool and elementary education to children aged 3 years to 12 years. Kindergarten & Grade School Teachers

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Deliver the CBC curriculum including continuous student assessments.
2.    Plan and execute appropriate activities for children according to the curriculum, schemes of work and lesson plans.
3.    Provide a variety of materials and resources for learners to explore, manipulate and use in learning.
4.    Create a conducive learning environment that promotes meaningful learning experiences and encourages high levels of student performance.
5.    Integrate technology into teaching, preparation of learning materials and student records.
6.    Liaise with other teachers to incorporate their teaching discipline into other learning areas.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1.    TSC certification and Degree in Education/ Diploma in ECDE/ P1 Diploma
2.    Not less than 3 years teaching experience which must include the CBC curriculum;
3.    Have a teaching specialization in the Grade school subjects with proven experience;
4.    Speak and write English fluently and communicate clearly;
5.    Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, coworkers and parents or guardians
6.    Have content knowledge that includes a strong sense of the concepts, purposes and intellectual process associated with the discipline they teach;
7.    Ability to use a variety of approaches in learner instruction;
8.    A team player, proactive, adaptable and a problem solver;
9.    Good organizational and record keeping skills;
10.    A passion for children and lifelong learning.
