Job Description
A prestigious day and boarding co-educational school, which offers the Kenya National Curriculum and the British Cambridge Curriculum, is inviting applications from well qualified applicants for the following position by 24th April 2023:
Kitchen Stewards / Cleaner
We are looking for a responsible, mature individual for the above role.
This individual will mainly be responsible to ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are clean, hygienic, and safe for food preparation and service.
They should be a team player with excellent communication skills as well as have experience in an institution.
Qualifications:
The interested candidate should have:
- Completed Form 4-KCSE.
- Certificate in Food and Beverage management an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a busy institutional environment, preferably a school, hospital or hotel
- The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and work in hot or cold environments.
- Preferable 25 years and above
- Certificate of good conduct
Experience:
- Good Planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good intra and interpersonal skills
The candidate should be ready to start work by 1st May 2023.
