We have delivered innovative, breakthrough solutions in key development sectors, including water sector governance, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, countering wildlife crime, forestry, protected area management, climate change, environmental policy, economic livelihood development, community engagement, and institutional capacity building.


Summary: The purpose of the USAID-funded Kenya KIWASH collaboration is to achieve sustainable water and sanitation services in Western Kenya through


1) County-wide approach to strengthening markets for sanitation and hygiene products and services and


2) Ensuring county-wide sustainable drinking water services to households, including effective management of water resources.


Target counties for this activity are: Bungoma, Busia, Homa Bay, Kakamega, Kisii, Kisumu, Migori, and Siaya.


RTI is seeking to recruit for the following positions below:


Labor Workforce Advisor for the anticipated KIWASH project.


The Labor Workforce Advisor will be an integral part of the Program Partnership and Sustainability (PPS) Team, which will support county governments and public entities such as TVETs and academia.


In this role, the Labor Workforce Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for capacity building in entrepreneurship, job readiness, job skills, labor rights, and other work force development topics, particularly focused on water and sanitation services.


This position will be based in Kisumu, Western Kenya and report to the Program Partnership and Sustainability Director.
