Working experience for lift or engineering companies with a minimum of 3-5 years practical experience as engineer.

Job Description/Requirements
Reporting to: Head of Lift Installation.
Job Requirements
1. Experienced engineer or experienced technician.
2. Working experience for lift or engineering companies with a minimum of 3-5 years practical experience as engineer or technician in building lifts installation and maintenance.
3. Maintenance of existing lifts both mechanical and Electrical.
4. Highly focused on the safety and quality of deliverables.
5. Excellent oral and written English skills.
6. Good communication skills and interested in working within a technical and operational environment.
7. Able to read, interpret and verify lifting installation plans & drawings.
8. Whilst you must be a team player it is essential that you can also work on your own initiative.
9. Registration by relevant government authorities.
10. Certificate of good conduct.
11. Flexible to work anywhere within Kenya.
12. Ability to support client’s emergency response at any location during any time as and when required.
13. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Job Description:
• Registration of newly installed lifts with the ministry of transport.
• Provide support for all lifting and technical activities on construction projects.
• Prepare preliminary studies for lift sizing or estimates when requested.
• Prepare timely response to field questions.
• Installations of lifts.
• Work according and verify compliance with industry standard requirements concerning measurement and lifting equipment.
• Become familiar with all applicable lifting and hoisting procedures as set forward by customers.
• Schedule maintenance of lifts as per SLA agreements with clients.
• Attend site meetings when required and represent the company in such.
