Job Description


We are a Live Bands Agency. Our focus is managing all aspects of live bands. E.g. Rehearsal, bookings and performance.



The Keyboardist is required to be committed and reliable, rehearsing new songs, coordinating practice sessions, managing the band playlist and performing at our events on demand.



Job Title: Live Band Keyboardist



Responsibilities




  • Coordinate band practice sessions. Sending out songs to be practiced in advance to band members and ensuring the songs are learned properly during practice.

  • Managing the band playlist in gigs so that there is smooth flow in performances.

  • Performing with any of our bands at our events on demand.

  • Singing some songs as a lead vocalist and backing up the lead singer as a background vocalist.

  • The keyboardist should be able to sing for an entire gig in the event the lead singer is not available.

  • Clean/Dust the keyboard and its accessories regularly.

  • Report on any damage in timely fashion.

  • Report on the state of the bands performance daily.

  • The candidate should be ready to travel around and out of the country from time to time.



Qualifications




  • Experience as a Keyboardist/Pianist. (Advanced level)

  • Be a team player.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Having a ready extensive repertoire of songs is an added advantage.



No academic qualifications required.
