Position: Lorry Driver/Factory Worker
A company dealing with manufacturing and sales of roofing materials based in Kiambu County is looking for a lorry driver/factory worker to be based at the company factory.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in factory processes and production of goods
- Loading, transportation and delivery of customers’ goods in a safe and timely manner
- Providing good customer services by answering customer questions and handling customer complaints
- Adhering to delivery notes, schedules, and timeliness
- Ensuring proper usage, maintenance and regular checkup of company vehicles
Requirements
- Secondary school certificate
- 5 years experience as a lorry driver
- Knowledge of Highway Code and regulations
- Maintained a clean driving license for the last five years
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to diagnose and fix minor issues related to the company vehicles
- Conversant with machine operations and factory production processes
