Job Title: Marketing Officer – LPG

Location: Nairobi

Gross Salary: 40K

Our client is one of the largest distributor and supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to commercial customers.

They seek to hire marketing officer to conduct competitor analysis, develop and implement marketing campaigns for the company.

The incumbent will be tasked with coming up with ideas to increase the company’s market share.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research on how the company products are fairing in the market


• Conduct competitor analysis


• Formulate marketing strategies based on the results of the research


• Implement strategies to boost company sales


• Work cross functionally to design impactful, metrics-driven campaigns that improve customer acquisition, activation, and retention


• Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate customer insights


• Analyze the success of campaigns and the effectiveness of marketing channels


• Identify business challenges, propose analytically grounded, well-researched solutions, and drive execution


• Build strong relationships with the group marketing team and external agencies to generate scalable test & learn ideas to grow volumes


• Develop, maintain and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly marketing & research reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing/sales, or related field


• 1-2 years of experience in the marketing/sales field


• The ability to conduct market research and interpret data


• Very good communication and organization skills


• Good knowledge of MS Office and good reporting skills


• High energy and enthusiasm
