Job Title: Marketing and Research Assistant

Location: Nairobi

Salary: 40K

Our client is one of the largest distributor and supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to commercial customers.

They seek to hire marketing and research assistant to manage the brand, research on the market, develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead marketing campaigns to grow and develop company market share


• Work cross functionally to design impactful, metrics-driven campaigns that improve customer acquisition, activation, and retention


• Develop and execute digital marketing activity based on strategy approved by the group’s marketing manager


• Plan, manage and control the internal communication within the company related to the brand and products


• Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate customer insights


• Analyze the success of campaigns and the effectiveness of marketing channels


• Lead unique partnerships from opportunity identification, partnership design, negotiation and implementation to further expand the reach of company’s products and services


• Identify business challenges, propose analytically grounded, well-researched solutions, and drive execution


• Build strong relationships with the group marketing team and external agencies to generate scalable test & learn ideas to grow volumes


• Develop, maintain and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly marketing reports


• Retain the already secured portfolio to ensure growth is sustained


• Execute high levels of customer care


• Clearing and forwarding key deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing/sales, or related field


• 1-2 years of experience in the marketing/sales field


• The ability to use knowledge in the field of marketing (including digital), PR and communication in practice


• Experience in a busy sales and marketing department


• Very good communication and organization skills


• Good knowledge of MS Office


• Good knowledge of new products on the market in the area of marketing


• High energy and enthusiasm
