Pursuant to County Government Act section 59 (1) (a) and (b) and the constitution of Kenya 2010, the County Public Service Board of Marsabit wishes to recruit competent and qualified citizens to fill the following vacant positions in the under listed County departments.

CPSBM 25/RTPW/27/01/2021: Architect (Job Group K) – 2 post

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Responsibilities

• Preparation of design, documentation and supervision of building


• Interpretation of clients’ requirements


• Performing post-contract administration including inspection of works on site


• Training and development of technical staff under this position

Qualifications 

• Kenyan citizenship


• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or its equivalent and relevant qualification from are recognized institution


• Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience


• Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles10 and 232 of the constitution


• Must be a member of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK)


• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results


• Proficiency in computer applications


• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
