Job Description
JOB GROUP ‘M’ (CPSB 07); ADVERT NO.162/2021
Terms of Service : Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary : Kshs. 49,970 – Kshs. 65,120 p.m.
House Allowance : Kshs. 15,400 p.m.
Commuter Allowance : Kshs. 8,000 p.m.
Medical Cover : Comprehensive Medical Cover
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
- Have a Bachelors in medicine and surgery degree from a recognized institution by MP&DB;
- Have successfully finished one-year internship programme;
- Be registered by MP&DB;
- Have a valid practicing license; and
- Be computer literate.
Roles and Responsibilities;
- Diagnose, care and treat clients;
- Perform medical and surgical procedures;
- Prepare and respond to emergencies and disasters;
- Participate in management of medicines, medical instruments and equipment;
- Provide health education; and
- Teach and coach students.
