Job Description
Sheer Logic is seeking to engage a dynamic individual for the Motor Vehicle Electrician position for one of our clients.
Role Profile; Motor Vehicle Electrician
Responsibilities
- Interpreting instructions, technical manual (manual/digital) illustrations specifications diagrams, schematics other guides in conducting repairs and modifications;
- Using measuring instruments and test equipment such as engine analyzers, injector testers, ignition timers, lactometers, ammeters, ohmmeters;
- Interpreting electrical schematic diagrams to rectify electrical faults;
- Repairing starter motors, alternators, writing systems and accessories in vehicles and equipment;
- Service and maintain all air conditioning systems and other related accessories;
- Maintain vehicles and equipment in functional conditions by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspection, replacing parts and components and computerized vehicle and equipment gadgets;
- Verify vehicles and equipment serviceability by conducting test drive;
- Request for spare parts and other necessary sundries/consumables;
- Repairing short circuit in vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Option
- 2+ years relevant experience (Auto electrical)
- Ability to work in shifts
- A team player with leadership skills
