Radiology Services Deputy Director Job, County Government Jobs Kenya 2021, 

Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 (Article 185(2), 186(1) and 187(2) on distribution of functions between the National Government and County Government and the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012, the Narok County Public Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the Narok County Government.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR, RADIOLOGY SERVICES, ONE (1) POSITION ADVERT NO: NCG/CPSB/018

TERMS OF SERVICE: permanent and pensionable

SALARY SCALE: CPSB 04: Ksh. 99,900 x 5,010 – 104,910 x 5,240 – 110,150 x 5,500 – 115,650 x 5,780 – 121,430 x 6,070 – 127,500 x 6,370 – 133,870 p.m.

Responsibilities

An officer at this level will be responsible to the Director, Radiology Services. For undertaking general diagnosis, care, treatment and rehabilitation of patients. Carrying out specialized clinical care, providing psycho-social interventions, providing clinical services for patient, training, consulting and performing surgeries in various health facilities,carring out forensic and medico-legal services, coordinating diseases surveillance prevention and control, coordinating health education and promotion, implementing health projects and programmes,maintain up to date health information systems, monitoring provision of health treatment and care; undertaking health research and analyzing medical report.

Qualifications

• Served in the grade of Assistant Director, Medical Services/Medical specialist II for a minimum period of Five (5) years;


• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBCHB) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practioners and Dentist Board;


• Masters’ degree in Radiology or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Practioners and Dentist Board;


• Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution;


• Have a certificate of registration by the medical practioners and dentist board;


• Have valid practicing license from medical practioners and dentist board:


• Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010


• Demonstrate professional competence and managerial capability as demonstrated in work in performance and results


• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
