Oasis Healthcare Group Limited is a group of specialist Doctors working and operating across the country since 2010 under a group-based practice model.

We currently have facilities in the following counties: Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay, Siaya, Uasin-Gishu, Kitui, Nairobi, Kakamega, Busia and Bungoma.

We are looking to fill the following positions with qualified and suitable individuals willing to join us at our various facilities.

Job Title: Dental Assistant

(1 Position)

Location: Kakamega

General Description: The overall purpose of this position is to facilitate the efficient and effective running of the Dental Department to ensure clients are treated with a high degree of professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

• Liaising with the receptionist to assist patients to fill in their personal details and medical history forms


• Ensuring that the patient’s file is present and all forms have been duly filled before patient is escorted to the dental clinic


• Escort the patient from the reception area to the dental clinic


• After dental consultation, seating the patient on the dental chair and placing a bib


• Opening the clinic in the morning and ventilating the room


• Availing/ collecting the patients files from the records department


• Liaising with receptionist for efficient and effective booking of patients


• Keeping a daily record of work done


• Cleaning the surfaces i.e. tables/desktops


• Ensuring that the dental clinic is clean and tidy at all times


• Clearing up after each patient


• Disinfecting/swabbing the surfaces i.e. Dental chair


• Collecting and packaging of sterile instruments

Job Requirements

• A Certificate/Diploma in Dental Assisting


• Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Dental Assistant


• Good attitude and friendly approach with the ability to connect well with customers and manage tense situations.


• Emotionally stable.


• Good health.


• Excellent interpersonal communication skills in both English and Kiswahili with ability to impart knowledge about dental procedures


• Highly presentable, hardworking and committed.


• Maintain strict confidentiality.
