Job Description
Our Client, in the real estate/property management industry, based in Nairobi with presence in Mombasa and other smaller towns, is seeking to recruit a well-seasoned Officer in Premises Management.
Reporting to the Administrator, the Officer-Premises Management, through respective Caretakers, will be responsible for the overall management of assigned residential, industrial or commercial properties within the Company’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain property by addressing tenant complaints, completing repairs and enforcing rules of occupancy.
- Handle all complaints received from the caretakers and supervisors.
- Manage daily property requirements and perform regular site visits.
- Ensure security of premises and maintain security devices.
- Ensure the premises is ready for new occupants and enforce terms of rental agreements.
- Maintain all statutory required records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned properties.
- Any other Management duty as assigned by the Directors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Training and qualification at post-secondary level in real estate/property management.
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in property management or supervision will be preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages.
- In depth understanding of the real estate market trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Those earning over Kshs. 50,000.00 per month need not apply. This position is looking for someone who will prove her/himself so as to earn a competitive pay thereafter.
